This morning not far from where we witnessed the stunning moonset and sunrise the lions were munching on a lechew they had managed to catch in the early morning hours. When this happens the vultures are never far away waiting for their chance to scavenge what they can. The cubs like to chase them away.
Penny, so sorry about your experience in S. Africa. Very sad. I hope you can see a positive in it and your writeup was very touching. I can't imagine losing all that was so private and special. Just know that we're thinking of you and have you in our prayers. Stowe is finally getting a little summer feel. Jamie's is booming and we're starting to get the "tourists" into town. Margie and I are fine and look forward to your stories. God bless, John Rains
A canadian, who went from -30°C to +30°C in 30 hours and moved into a tent in the middle of the African bush in Botswana. A shared journey of my life as I live and breath it in the Okavango Delta in Northern Botswana. I will be living in a camp in a tent with wild animals all around me, four hours from the closest town. I hope to bridge the gap between man and nature by sharing it with you. This will be my experience penned and pictured as I live it......
